I have the trailer and no truck, I was wondering about the crewmax with the 5.7l and six speed auto.

Your situtation is the reverse of mine. I now have the truck and am looking for a new trailer. I went to an RV show yesterday, and avoided looking at any 5-ers because of the amount of weight that has top be carried by the tongue. Therefore, I was looking for a frame-mount receiver towed trailer with a max weight of not over about 8200 lbs.
Unfortunately, the tongue weight you are citing dry about maxs out the load capacity of the truck, let alone adding any weight to the trailer with luggage/supplies/propane or to the truck with passengers/supplies/fuel. Also, you will be at or about the GCVW with very little if any extra capacity left.
As great as the Tundra is, to have any kind of a safety margin (70% actual load to max load is what I've been told/taught) you will need to/should move up to at least a 3/4 ton vehicle.
Good luck, just not with a Tundra.
