I also have an undercover tonneau cover. I liked it better than any of the others I looked at because of its light weight and ease of getting it on and off. It's light enough that the wife and can put it on and take it off with no problem. It's also strong enough to walk on. I have driven long distances in heavy rain with no leakage at all, and even going though car washes the bed stays dry.
The prices seem to vary quite a bit. I was quoted prices for the black unpainted version from $650 to $995. I had mine painted to mactch the truck and the total price was $1,100.

I just put a undercover classic on my 2011 Limited Crewmax... it is a very nice cover. Normal price was $799 installed at a local linex dealer but he dropped the price to $699 when I bought a linex spray in bed liner. The fit is great and I think it is the best cover under $1000.

I have an undercover classic on my 07 Tundra and its been there since the truck was new. It has worn the paint from my bed even after constantly re-aligning it. The latest mishap is last month the right shock sprung a leak and guess what, it sent the alignment out worse than even and wear is nearly to bare metal on my box. The hinges on mine are simply to flimsy side to side. I would not recommend this cover unless improvements have been.

My dealer mentioned that the shocks have been redesigned. Have you called undercover and told them about this? I have heard nothing but praise about these covers. Is it possible that the cover was improperly installed?
