chirping sound in the front

I get a chirping sound from the front of the engine but only when it's cold out. I figure if it was a pulley or water pump, it would do it all the time, but it doesn't. Temp gets below 40 and it starts.
thanks

I'd check your belts and pulleys.

that is a well documented tundra problem for 2007 and early 2008. it's the drive belt tenisoner. it only chirps when it's cold. the new part has Teflon imbedded in the coil spring to eliminate the noise.
