buckets to bench conversion?

I tried to use search but is does not seem to be working right now.
I have an opportunity to buy a bucket seat 08 tundra at a great price that I would need to convert to bench seating so the family can ride with me. Besides selling the buckets and the console and replacing the carpet and buying the bench seat, is this an easy conversion? The transmission selector is between the seats now, so do I need a whole new steering column to convert it to column shift?
thanks!

yep probably have to go to a column shift for anyone to sit in the middle up front. sounds like a lot of work to do that (move the shift to the column).

Probably not worth attempting unless you have a donor vehicle handy with all of the necessary shifter parts, brackets, etc. Swapping the seat would be the easiest part.
