Well if it happened during the warranty period, you may contact Toyota and tell them about the situation.
We had A/C problems last last summer around the 60,000km mark (basic new car warranty). It continued after the warranty expired and finally they figured out what's wrong (bad wire.. go figure lol). So we contacted Toyota Canada and they agreed to reimburse half the cost of the repair. Not bad.
