Thats exactly what i was thinking. Using the v6-v8 would keep costs down, but it wont be unique like it was b4. The 3000gt was v6, and the 300zx was also v6. The only unique ones were the rx7 (rotory engine) and the supra (inline). Not only is the inline engine naturally balanced, Toyota also has experience with them. Every supra has had an inline six engine, since it was a Celica Supra i believe. In my opinion, putting a V engine in a supra would be like putting a V engine in a Porsche that normally uses a Boxer engine. I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but its just my .02.
