the biggest difference is the rubber compounds the tires are made of. Snow tires are much softer so that in the cold they are still soft which gives you your traction. Summer tires are hard to begin with so in the cold they go like rock, but in the heat they give you good traction, where snow tires don't fare as well in the heat

Yea I was going to run down to get the hardware to put my rims on but the place was closed lol. So I am waiting now also. Maybe by the time the meet comes around I will have the rims on... Meh at least I got my driver side wheel bearing fixed, no more front end fish tail next is the alignment
