Yeah, microfiber really grabs stuff, which is why it's so good to use for cleanining and detailing your vehicle. Each fiber of microfiber towel is split, like pizza slices or the pedals on a flower. These little splits in the fibers make it grab more, and also hold more water too. I wash mine after every use, and then dry them on low heat, and then fold them up and keep them stored in a cabinet until I use 'em. With the deep pile towels I always give 'em a good inspection before using 'em. I use short pile most of the time though.
