Damn!

Hennessey (Sp.) was featured on Motor Trend's Tuner segment or something... he was up against like other super tunners who did up cars like FD RX-7, Porsches and some Benz! It's amazing someone can get scammed outta $100K! but then again if you got you can lose it too.

I would never do something like that, I want to be able to see the people who do work on my car, I would NEVER ship my car off the way that guy did... it's like inviting something like that to happen

WOW!!!!!! i am speechless. I read all the threads and even went to read viper club and mopar club. It's everywhere on all auto enthusiasts boards. I use to think he was a great tuner... now hes just a *(%&^%$! I'm gonna watch my back now if i ever go to a tuner from now on. That was really bad what happened and i wish them luck on thier lawsuit.

And I thought I got ripped off when I had my Mustang motor built back in the day. Unreal that even a high profile tuner can stoop to a level like that.

DTA - Don't Trust Anyone.....cause that's tha bottom line cause Stone Cold said so!

Lada = Leave-a-day-ahead

We used to use those in PEI for tearing around in the fields and woods.
If you wanted it to run, it would be a piece of crap. But try to abuse those cars on purpose, farkin thing would never die!!

John Hennessey!

John Hennessey is/was one of the industries most respected tuners. A specialist in Viper (and just recently Corvette) high performance he has been credited by many mainstream automotive magazines as one of the best in the buisness. I guess it doesn't matter how many magazines covers you make, you could still be a crook. Very sad indeed.

Respected automotive journalist Csaba Csere has shed light on this particular issue and this specific case in his column "The Steering Column" in the September 2002 issue of Car and Driver magazine.
