USA crappy work @ al and eds

well just went to get my amp installed and al and ed's yesterday...a very crappy experience IMO haha

first had to haggle with the cashier in the store over the pricing and then had to set up an appt to get it installed...then when i went to their install bay to get the stuff installed, the installer said he was too busy and i had to set up a different appt with the installer so i had to put this off for a coupla days cuz of the lack of communication between their store and installation bay

when i finally went to my appointment to get it installed...the guy installed it quickly but installed it wrong (which i didnt realize until i got home to hook up my system he had plugged in the rca cables into the output instead of the input and instead of seperating out the wires into both channels (i have a 2 channel amp) he jammed the wires into a single channel

so now i'm am not going to be going back to get anything installed there

I haven't heard a single good story when it comes to al and ed's installs. My buddy bought an amp there and had them install it. They got him to buy some really expensive monster cable install kit and RCA's along with the amp but when the amp stopped working and I took it all apart. the wires they used were way too small for the amp and the RCA's were totally different from the ones they had him buy. They totally ripped him off. I bought my amp there because I got them to beat another shops price but did not let them near my car. They do hack jobs on their installs and use the cheapest wire and materials they can. In the future you might want to just buy the amp and have a buddy install it for you...
