3rd Generation A Warning To All!

I just want to warn everyone out there about an on-line part store I’ve had the displeasure of doing business with. The site is Toyota-parts-online.com, a division of B&B Auto Parts out of New York. I ordered an igniter over a month ago and haven’t received it yet. After the first two weeks of no results, I e-mailed them twice with no feedback. At week three, I called them up and talked to a sales rep. The rep said there must have been a glitch in the system and the order was not processed. He said he would send it out that day. At this point, $170.27 was taken from my checking account and received an e-mail receipt reflecting same along with a DHL reference number. A week later, I still haven’t received my part and now I’m out $170! The DHL reference number comes back bogus on their tracking page. I called B&B back today and was promptly put on hold and remained there for over 5 minutes till I got tired of waiting and hung up. So, learn from my mistake and DO NOT do business with these people!

At last!

Well, it looks like my problem may be resolved. After a few more phone calls, I finally find out my part was backordered and would be sent to me direct from the manufacturer. The part was then accidentally sent to the vendor where it was put in the warehouse to collect dust instead of finding its way to me. But the part was found, sent out via DHL and should get to me in a few days. We'll see if it's the right one. My advice is to still stay away from these guys. I felt I was left out of the loop during this whole endeavor.
