Dickson I remember you advised me to beware of some store... was it these guys?
Anyone else had any experiences with them?
Thanks.

You will get dissed by the owner cuz you are brown. No joke.
Yeah that is what Dickson told me too... I just wanted to make sure it was the same store, before I made any pre-judgements. Thanks for the heads-up.

I think I did see the old guy at Speedorama this year. Is it the old, wrinkled guy that you are talking about?

Hmmm....aside from our own bad experiences my friend with a Civic (ugh) went in there once, and got totally blown off - the owner pretended to make a phone call to someone and said loudly so my friend could hear "...who would soup up a cheap car like a civic anyways?!" True nuff, but aren't your primary customers Civicboys anyways? And look at the cars the employees drive, I remember they were like mildly souped up beaters. The guy is wierd, just plain nuts.
That guy at E.A.P has to learn something about customer service... you walk in and he's all nice... you spend 5 minutes and he starts wailing away and seems like you ain't geting outta there without dishing out some money.... Also if you speak English he's more inch... Speak his lingo and he's slightly nicer till you say "okay I think about it" Then.......... He goes "WHY YOU NEED TO THINK... SO CHEAP!"
Another thing that I find amusing from that shop is that I think that old guy's wife is always sitting beside him... whenever he's trying to make a cold joke out of the customer the wife laughs with him.
I'm GLAD that everyone here hates Equip Auto Performance! I hate EAP too! It should be called SAP... Stupid Auto Performance. I went in there one time to ask for brake pads... one guy who had dyed hair and looked like a CBC was pretty nice. He asked me what I wanted and all, but then some nerdy looking FOB beside him started taking over.
I asked how much the brake pads were, he told me $150 each. I said I don't want such expensive ones. Then he scoffs at me and is like, "We don't sell cheap stuff." So I'm just like WTF... so I walk out all mad and whatever. Then the old wrinkly basturd from the back comes out to laugh at me.
So I just left their door open (the one that says to close it) and I get in my car. The old basturd is staring at me from inside his shop! WTF?!
I don't think these people realize the work for US. THEY WORK FOR US! I hope it shuts down or something.
What I've actually noticed of few people is, that they dont realize that relatively cheap parts can be good, they dont look at the brand, but the price...
I'm not kidding, but for ricers they buy stuff and the only thing they look is the price, I mean heck I could sell cheapo brakepads and just stick a big pricetag on it and they'd buy it, cuz hey its not cool to say to your friend you got performance rated pads for $50 a set (4 pads). Rather, you say you got "performance" (the sh*tty pads, lets say I sold) for $200bucks per rotor.
Gives you that rich jet-set image
