Wink My Eonon Experience

I have been talking back in forth with their customer service rep and after finally receiving the DVD/GPS items back they tell me this:

"Dear customer,
Thank you for your mail.
i am sorry to hear that , refund you 391 USD is the best offer we can afford, i already
report your case to my manager. sorry for the last email, i caculate the wrong refund.
Your kindly understanding will be highly appreciate

hope to hearing from you soon.
have a nice day.
kathy T
customer service"

I payed $441 and yet they are still refusing to give me all my money back. A little quick background information of what happend. Sillena told me as was it advertised on their website(It isn't anymore because of my situation) that the unit worked with the 2010 Camry. I heard some users say it didn't but I couldn't find any information regarding the electrical wiring differences in the 2009 and 2010. Decided to give it a shot and I ordered the GPS/E1052 DVD unit thats supposedly plug and play. It didn't work and I had to pay $40 dollars out of pocket to have DHL ship it back to Hong Kong. They tested everything to make sure it worked properly and they said it does. So you would think I would get my $441 that I sent to them via paypal. I'm not even counting the $40 I pay out of pocket to DHL. They are trying to steal a total of $50 from me, $90 add it all up.

I am waiting to here back after I sent them this email:

"I don't know what kind of business practice you run at Eonon but a refund should be in the full amount. I payed $441 and your only willing to give me back $391? Your company has already inconveneinced me by telling me this unit worked with the 2010 Camry. I will only accept the $441 but $391 will ensure that I never buy from your company again and will tell others to do the same. I hope you realize how bad it is to not refund someone the entire amount. I have been dealing with this for over 2 months and it is rediculous that you can't refund my money in its entirety! Thank you"

MODS can you please revoke Eonon's vendership if they refuse to give me a full refund. I don't want others to get ripped off by their shady business practices. Thank you

Well after looking through their website I would say you are not going to get the full refund. No where under their return policies does it say they have to return the full amount of payment. Secondly they are based in China so US laws do not apply to them. File BBB complaint and move on. This is one of the reasons why I am very careful with overseas businesses because if they screw you, you don't have very much leverage to get you money back.

If you paid through paypal you might be able to file a claim that wey.

I know

I figured since they are a vendor here that the company would not pull things like this. Plus if they claim their product worked when it didn't you know? I will definitely make a claim at the BBB in a few days.

They said they they wouldn't include the amount it cost for them to ship. I replied back saying what about the amount I had to pay to get it shipped to them.

A appreciate it thanks so much. I advised them it was be who informed them it didn't work for the 2010. If I wasn't the test dummy their website would still say 2010 and Sillena would still be pushing it to the 2010 Camry owners. Instead of dealing with lots of unhappy customers now they only have to deal with one. I wish I could just speak to the manager because they aren't getting this at all. I should here back from them pretty soon and we'll see what happens from there.

Sorry I didn't noticed this thread till today. We appologized for all the inconvenience caused Sean! I've just informed our customer service, they will deal with you case specailly, and will try their best to help you get the full refund.

Honesty is Eonon’s most important value. I didn’t mean to mislead anyone, but the manufacturer sometimes gives us the inaccurate information, we learned a lesson. We should search the truth from true users before we make a conclusion. From you case on, we don’t push this E1052 to any Camry 2010 owners. Hope you can understand, and you will get a satisfactory solution finally, don't worry Sean, Eonon will take good care of every customer

Given the way this worked out, I think Sean or an admin should edit the title to be fair to the vendor. Many readers don't look past the "headline".

edit: I see it's now been done.
