Avoid speedee oil change vallejo california

I recently took my 2004 lancer to get an oil change. I would have done it myself but I had a back injury so paying an extra 20 bucks for somebody else to do it was worth avoiding the pain. I took my car to a speedee oil change in my home town and paid 56 bucks for a synthetic oil change. Now the list of services in this oil change included checking and topping off of all fluids, washing the windows, vacuming the car, checking and resetting tire pressures and a few other things I cant remember. I knew they probably weren't going to do it all but I just wanted my oil changed anyway so saving me the time by not doing the other stuff was fine by me. I am a smoker so while my car was in the service bay I was in the lot having a smoke and stretching out my back. And I could see the only thing they did was to change my oil. Fine. Except the technician doing the work saw me in the lot and even told me once only about 3 min til its done. Then when he was finished he drove my car out of the bay and came over to me with his clipboard to explain to me what he just did on my car and listed everything I was supposed to get and even tried to upsell other not needed services including an a/c flush and refill and a transmission service. And I just sat there thinking this little punk has the nerve to tell me he did all this when I watched the whole procedure. I was going to call him a liar and get his boss involved but I would have hit this kid so I just said nothing and have since told everyone I know about this place. And a few people were regular customers so this lack of intelligence and work ethic on this kids part cost his company at least 1500 bucks worth or income per year by my calculations. Just so you all know and can avoid it.

this sounds about on par with any quick change oil place.

right, most of them are bastards asking for a punch.

check out Jiffy Lube videos on you tube
even filthy managers over there are bastards encouraging their subordinates to lie to and cheat on customers during their "training". I can't imagine how such companies still can exist and do business.

I had one of these places change my oil on my Camry. I brought it home and smelled burning oil and saw some leaks on the ground. Opened up the hood and noticed they didn't tighten the oil filter. I tightened it myself and drove back over to tell them I wanted them to clean up the oil that was all over my exhaust pipes. They tried to tell me that I was wrong and they asked me how I knew they left the filter loose! I explained to them that I usually change the oil myself and I know how to install a filter. They shut up after that and I haven't been back since. These guys are a bunch of crooks and idiots.
