A complaint to Toyota dealer in Saudi Arabia (We need help from TN)..

Hey

First of all i am sorry if i have some bad english here i am not an English person ..


I am Ali from Saudi Arabia , and i am customer for toyota and an old member to this big forum ..


i would like to make a complaint about our local dealer in Saudi Arabia , the Abdul Latif Jameel Co. Lt (
www . alj . com/) , and i want to disscuss about his marketing politics in our regoin ..


Now From the last 50 years , Toyota brand in the middle east especially in the Arab gulf was been the #1 choice for the consumers since a very long time and Lexus brand with the 4X4 vehicles and sedan such as the land cruiser , Prado , Camry , avalon and Corolla etc , and to be very honest that the Toyota community around the Toyota arabic sites and the consumers on the dealer stores notice some cheap stuff within the Toyota vehicles that had nothing to do with automotive industry that been made by Toyota , which is surprisingly that the the dealer of our local the Abdul Latif Jameel Co. selling the non toyota part as a Toyota made such an accessory , remote car keys , media player etc , which is made in China and
with very poor Toyota logo paint , with full package price as with any term or model made by orginal Toyota Manufacturer wheather in Japan or the US Assembly ...

Not only that the dealer been modify with the Toyota originals parts in the last decades , but he overpriced both Toyota and Lexus brand year after more then you can imagine , which mean that the most of assembly vehicles that has been change to the non Toyota parts and rise the prices month after month and put the consumers the hard choice since we know that he is the only top toyota dealer that had the ALJ`s toyota warranty ..

And i`ll be happy if you want lot of these just to be clear that our local dealer been taking the advantege from Toyota consumers and to be honest our Toyota community and Customers
had enough of this prodects just because the dealer actions ..

Now that been said , do you think
Toyota should make an Investigation about the dealers in the meddleast and how he manipulate thier barnd with no oficcial agreement by Toyota company ?

And i will be appreciat if anyone here help us the Toyota Arab community to get to the main Toyota E.mail or how to contact thier directors to know more our dealer

Hi,

I am Toyota fan too but I think this post has exaggerated the issue. One can register the complain to ALJ through their toll free number, website or Facebook fan page and will get a response to the same. However, it looks like more of ranting than a complaint. Which company hasn’t increased the price over years? ALJ has to stay competitive against Korean cars and thus they can only afford to increase the prices which will not affect their sales. As far as features in the cars is concerned, the prices of cars is cheap too as compared to what it is in other GCC countries with more features. The dealers who import cars from Bahrain or UAE sell them at very expensive prices and do not even give satisfactory service. ALJ at least provides excellent customer service.

ALJ Saudi -- How/Who/where to complain ??

Hi,
I am writing here after struggling with Toyota showroom staff and having no response for my emails, facebook and website compliants submitted in last 10 days.
I can't believe that a respectable company like ALJ is not responding to compliants recived via web site, facebook etc.
i am not sure what is the purpose of having compaints section and public relations department if nobody is going to respond ever????

here is my story.
I have recently got riped off by a sales man at Toyota Khobar, got my new GXR V8 Landcruiser with major accessories missing, I paid for Navigation and Collite (glass tinting) while i received the car without Collite and missing navigation software.. the sales man at showroom simply refused to help me and denied to give any of the missing parts.
my invoice clearly shows what is supposed to be included...
I have moved out of Saudi with my new Landcruiser and my only source of contact is email,web and phone... and no luck in getting any response on either of those channels...
appreciate if someone can connect me to someone at ALJ who can help.
