I just had an interesting experience ordering stuff from autoanything, online. Now I'm going to give them some time yet to sort things out... but.
I orderd a "B&I" interior trim kit, and a "Wheelskins" leather steering wheel cover from them about 3wks. ago. Total cost including shipping was suppossed to be about $230. OK, but UPS then charged me another $33.98, for.....? Then I started looking at the paperwork, to find that the Interior Kit, really only cost $59.20 (US), not $144.95! Our dollars are pretty close right now, so whats up? Originally I tried to order the Interior kit alone, and they wanted to charge me $112, for shipping, $257 for a $60 kit? Holy Hanna! - Seems like a pretty nasty scam aimed at vulnerable Canadian buyers.

(this stuff was all duty free under the North American free-trade agreement) I'll give them some time to sort this out, but this seems pretty crazy to me. If US companies want to compete on the international market, they should at least act in an honest and fair manner about shipping to there best neibours.

The Chinese company that shipped me my HID headlights, was far straighter about costs and shipping, and even called me twice.
