The biggest crucks I ever saw. Last June I went there to get some tints for my 86 MR2. I asked for yellow to match with my car. They said they can't get that. So they show me a tint with like a mirror reflection to it. It looked nice, but I thought that it was illegal? I asked them. They all said " No- No it good, they won't bother you. So I bought it. In the next 2 weeks I got 2 tickets. I go back to them and ask them what the f**k is this bulls**t. They said " o sometimes the cops try to pick on you. Now that f**ker " Danny or Dildo " sais he can get the yellow tint. So I spend another 200 for the tints. So now with the cost of the first and second tint, time lost from work- because of going to court... these yellow tints cost be $ 550 dollars. Dam those mother f**kers!!!
Geez Louise!!!! Will you guy not listen to me?? Take it from a guy who has been shafted royally by all the shady shops this side of Toronto. TINT KING SUCKS BALLZ. That guy is so friggin creepy that werks there. Im sure if you smoke him up he'llgive you a deal, but there's no way in hell id ever share a smoke with him. The thought of him makes me ill. I LOATHE YOU TINT KING!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!
You know what's funny, Tint King is different from one shop to another.. Some locations are really bad in prices, some are bad at doing the work and some are alright! I got my car tinted at the Tint King on Lawrence Ave. E and Midland, and they did a pretty good job..
And I've heard of friends that went to other location and got shafted on either the price or the quality!

Well, I finally managed to ask a police officer on the tint issue and he told me that a police officer has the right to give a ticket to any car that isn't factory tinted!
Meaning if it's film (Not original dark glass) it is considered illegal in Ontario. But they usually let it pass unless it's really dark tint or the driver isn't showing respect or arguing with the officer.
You should always be helpful and respectfull because sometimes they let you off easy. And a story I heard from my friend when he got pulled over doing 130km but his case was going to be dismissed! The first question the judge asked the officer was if my friend showed respect or not, and when the officer said that he showed respect the judge dismissed the case.

None of the police are cars, they have have different chips, and other engine mods, they have a different suspension, and obviously different interior...
I haven't specifically asked about the HP and torque difference from stock.. I will next time I see him though, maube he'll know..

most cop cars are police interceptor crown victorias. they come with a heavier commercil brake system, harder shocks, and a stronger frame. basically a beefed up Crown vic. to my knowlage none of the cop cars have Nos or anything like that in them. just really powerful engines. although there may be some engine modification that has been done...

crown vics are usually OPP cruisers in my area.. the biggest cop car right now is the Impala's.. nice cars! they come with souped up engines (230 or 250hp i think, as opposed to 200hp stock) ram bars on the front and heavy duty suspensions.. all cop cars come with heavy duty suspensions either way.. ever see the cops just drive over curbs and park on lawns??? DAMN!! now don't you wish you could do that.. they don't even mess up their alignments or break anything..
impala is the most popular cop car.
the biggest in size is still the crown vic.
impala is still governed at 180kph though.. even on the cop versions.
i was talking to a couple of OPP cops and they were bitching about how its not as fast as the vic.
though the intrepid looks promising as a crusier.....
