I think a pressure test on your cooling system would be in order! Coolant in the oil would give you a milky looking substance in the oil someplace not a red color even though the coolant is red.

Thats true, but remember it only does that when a lot of water gets into the oil. My last Chevy did just that, I didn't see it milky until a very noticable amount of water was getting into the oil (so much where it overheated).
