Oil Change

If I understand you correctly you had the oil changed about 900 miles ago by a Toyota dealer. Then you had this oil problem and you took it back to a dealer (same dealer ?) and they told you it had half engine oil and half transmission oil in it. Is that correct? If this is true and a dealer did this and admitted it I would talk to the Factory Rep for your area and demand at the very least an extended warranty of 100,000 miles and I would make them pay for an oil analysis every 5 to 10,000 miles. I can't really tell from your post if the oil change 900 miles ago was from the dealer or not. Also, did the oil get changed again by a dealer and he gave you a free oil change and that was the one that got the half and half??? If the bad mix was in it for 900 miles I would make someone do something. If it was just in there for a few days that is better, but I would still try to get something out of them for future problems.

Mike
