Even in the US. From mid 86 to 89 the wire happens to be a pink one.
For those that are curious just do it. If you experience problems re-connect the wire. Just disconnect it from the harness clip at the ECU.
By the way. . .there is a reason Toyota does this stuff and it aint to save gas.
i was of course inquiring for on track testing purposes
