2012 stereo/nav *enhancement*
I just installed a Beatsonic TVK-1on my 2012 limited with navigation. This helped with the pesky lockout problems for the passenger while in motion. Install took less than 20 minutes, and required no cutting or splicing. Easy to remove if needed. I installed the switch in the center console, so it is easy to reach. Just thought I would share in case anyone was looking at a similar purchase.
It works like the mod also posted here, in that it modifies the speed the nav thinks it is going and allows screen function. This disables the sat tracking though, until you switch off the bypass. I really needed it so I could switch the active Bluetooth device while driving.
