If the unit has a FM Modulator you will be able to play it through the stereo. If it does it should give you a couple of different channels to play it through. The sound quality on mine is pretty decent.
I can't be sure on the 2013 entune system...On the 08-12, you could cycle the headunit to a dvd setting by hitting the aux/cd button for a 3rd time (it would go aux in -> cd -> dvd) and would be directly connected. If you have the parking brake on and stopped, you could bring up video on navi units.
Same here with a '13 LTD. I asked the dealer, they want 300 to enable it. not sure how, but I'm disappointed :wtf: my Sienna LTD had it. but well what can you do...I'm sure someone will figure it out soon.
The Display Audio book doesn't mention the Rear Seat Entertainment at all. The Owners Manual also doesn't say anything about the RSE audio getting through the head unit.
Sounds like the $300 is some fancy way to connect a headphone jack on the RSE to the aux input on the head unit.
