2008 Toyota Highlander - redesigned

its not confirmed, i was told it may look like a stationwagon and rx330 in one! Wait and see....(kinda like the crossfire).

I test drove the HL Limited last week in silver. The exterior is totally redsigned. It has more sportier look, much bigger in width and length than previous. The interior design is absolutely beautiful with leather interior and wood trimming. The design looks similar to the RAV 4, just a larger version. But I still think the HL looks better than the RAV4. It comes with 19 alloy rims. The third row seats are pretty big with large head rest. The size of the HL is pretty close to the 4runner but not as big. Large trunk space. Drives absolutely smooth and quiet very comfortable. It also comes with smart key entry, rear view camera, power trunk. You can do a Google search (2008 Toyota Highlander photo) plenty of pictures there.
I also test drove the 08 Honda Pilot, I think the HL has a much better ride, comfort, quiet and design is much better.
The sticker price for the HL Limited was $38,500. The salesman was only able to take off $500. I'm going to wait till middle or end of 2008 to get a better deal because right now the car just came out and there unwilling to negotiate. the pilot is somewhat due for a redesign...u cant really compare the two anymore since the the HL is now updated while the pilot isnt yet.
i'm glad you like the new model, i hope to hear only good things about it, unlike the problems and nicknacks of the 2005 we own.
