Any 2008 Sport with leather out there? Talked with a salesman in San Diego, California. He said they wont have any Sports with leather until December or January. Have others heard/seen the same?
Wife just bought an 2008 Magnetic Grey Sport with Black Leather interior. New Nice!
All that mattered to her was that she have leather interior.
At the time it was the only Sport model with leather out of about 40!
Picked it up at Longo Toyota.

One out of 40... you are very fortunate. Just called Longo and they have 0 Sports with leather, none coming in. Perhaps Toyota is purposely leveraging the all-new model excitement to make leather-lovers upgrade to the Limited :-(
we've got atleast two sports with leather hows that black leather look catsikl? haven't gotten one of those yet. ours have only come with grey leather. also not sure down there but up here we've got some vendors with some nice hides aftermarket that keep the airbags intact so you don't have to upgrade to limited.
Wolfman, the black leather look's real nice.
Goes really well with the Sport Interior.
I got my wife to go with the Magnetic Grey model.
Had the windows tinted alittle darker in the rear and added the four mudflaps and bought some Weathertech Mats. That's about it for now.
Now, I'm trying to figure out on removing the rear tails so thatI could tint them alittle.

akira751, that's true, just wouldn't be my first choice. They would have to take apart the seats in a brand new car, heating elements wouldn't be covered under factory warranty, you would have to get factory switches (which aren't cheap aftermarket, non-factory switches doesn't look good), and then get wiring done to get the switches working, which means taking apart the dash for wiring. It's ok I guess if all that can be done in a cost-effective way that doesn't encroach on factory prices, and in a way that wont scratch or compromise the interior of your brand new vehicle.

How do the weather techs look, I am tossed between the WT or the toyota all weather

I just purchased the all weather floorliner and cargo liner from Weathertech. You can't get any better than these liners. These are the best. It's a little pricey but well worth the money. I got the beige color to match my beige interior and they fit perfectly. Good luck.

The Weathertech's look real good!
We just had a good rainfall today in So. Cal and I packed the entire family in the HL (6 of us). At the end of the day I was really glad we had the Weathertech's! I just had to wipe up the mud and grass and everything look new again! I bought mats for all 3 rows (alittle over 2 bills, but worth every penny). Compared to the Toyota All-Weather, the Weathertech's cover the entire carpeted area.
