New 2008 Highlander

Newbie here - just bought my new 2008 Highlander Sport V-6 4WD two days ago - silver with black leather interior. It has sunroof, running boards, mud flaps, cross bars (roof rack), tow prep package, and JBL radio package. So far, I love it and it really seems like an optical illusion - it is much roomier on the inside than it looks from the outside.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. Traded in my 99 Cadillac and was a little concerned about leaving the creature comforts of Cadillac to enter the world of Toyota. So far, I've got all the same toys and don't miss a thing!

Thank you!

Do you have any picture up close? I'm thinking of getting one but I dont know where to get it.

It looks like a Van right, hopefully with the running boards, it will look more "manly" i guess =)

Thanks again.

Thanks! So far I love it. The only things I need now are the all weather floor mats and cargo mat. The mats should be in any day now (had to be ordered when I bought the car) and the cargo mat should be in tomorrow.

How does the WeatherTech cargo liner work with the third seat up?

The Toyota one has a "crease" that allows it to fold when the third row seat is up.

The picture on the WeatherTech site shows a generic picture so you can not determine if it will work with the third row seat.

A pic would be nice if possible

I only have the weather techs for the front and back seats not the cargo liner.

The all weather floor mats and cargo liner came in today. Put all of them in the car this afternoon - they look great. The cargo mat is really heavy duty and yes, it comes in two pieces to accomodate the third room or opening the compartment for the tonneau cover. Looks like I am now ready for the road.

Just turned over my first 500 miles!
