Did your dealer calibrate your compass during PDI
My compass was set for the east coast (value was zone 8 and it should be zone 4)
Probably not a big deal for the average Toyota owner as the compass is a reference not a navigational thing.
If you are interested in setting your compass correctly here is the procedure
