Just curious, has anyone towed a travel trailer with your 08 HL? I would appreciate any comments you may have.

With the tow package the HL is rated for 5,000 towing capacity. I’m considering a Casita trailer weighting about 2,400 pounds dry, so there should be no problem with added propane and water.

I have an order for a Limited and sure hope it comes in by year-end! Toyota needs to ramp up production of Limiteds.

I purchased a Rockwood with a dry weight just under 2k and a hitch weight of 295 lbs. My concern is that it sits real low in back, and I have not towed it loaded yet. The trailer will not allow a WDH. So I am not sure what I am going to do.

Last year I saw a new, redesigned, RAV-4 towing a trailer similar to the Rockwood. I think the trailer was about 18 or 20 feet in length. The RAV-4 owner said that he had no problem towing it with the RAV. Maybe, with the HL,maybe just a sway bar would instead of the WDH.
