Limited w/ Nav : How can I adjust the clock?

First post - love the Highlander so far.
Just got an '08 Limited with Navigation yesterday and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to change the time on the clock. The Navigation Manual says to see the Vehicle Manual and the Vehicle Manual only gives you directions to adjust it on a vehicle without Navigation. The DISP button doesn't function the same with Nav as explained in the manual. I sat in front of the thing for a half hour searching through every menu and can't find squat.
Please, I beg - someone help. My wife won't stop talking about the clock being wrong.

The clock display is on the smaller screen above the larger NAV screen - so you change it using the DISP button on the steering wheel. I just changed mine for standard time in my HL Sport with NAV.

When I got mine, I was in the dealer lot for nearly an hour with the salesperson trying to figure this out.

Hit Disp on the steering wheel, not the dash.

NOT intuitive at all.

I hear you, like the other comments above, it's a bit awkward. Most important, this only involves the small display not the main NAV screen and the DISP button on the steering wheel.

Step 1. Locate the DISP button on the steering wheel.
Step 2. (Make sure your small display is on the screen showing just the time) (To change the small display clicking the DISP button on the steering wheel with toggle the small display to different screens) Hold the DISP button in for about 4 seconds until the small display shows a new menu. The first option is for the Clock. Hold the DISP button down for another few seconds until the clock menu pops up. It will show the hour and minutes. The hours should be blinking. To change the hours (They only advance up) Tap the steering DISP button until you get the desired hour. Wait 5 seconds and it will advance to the minutes. Again tap the DISP button until you get it to the desired minutes. Once correct just leave it alone for about 5 seconds and you're all set.

What about the date?

Possible a separate issue but I want to adjust the date. When I go to the calendar it shows (always) December 30th, 2000 as the date. All option are greyed out. Any ideas?
