When I changed my insurance from a 2006 RAV4 Limited I4 to a 2008 Highlander limited I was surprised to hear that my new premium would be a few dollars per year less.

I didn't question fate but I was puzzled that a vehicle that was $10,000 more cost less to insure.

Haa.. I can top this one....My wife had a 97 Honda Civic beater I was using as a commuter since our first child.. 3months ago.......

Anyway... When I called to get insurance rate info...a 06 Escalade was 10 dollars cheaper... I can't wait to see what the 08 HL is going to be. Just purchased it yesterday... about 10 hours ago. I am assuming it is going to be about the same!
