Blue Tooth?

Hey guys,

Looking at the sport without Nav, but thinking about the upgraded JBL with Blue tooth. How does it work? where are the numbers displayed (no nav) can you dial from the dash?

Numbers are displayed on the radio display

You can create a list of numbers and dial by name or do it manually.

Press the "talking head" button and say "dial by number"
Press the "talking head" button and say the number Two, zero, six, etc
Press the off hook button
Press the "talking head" button and say "dial"

Or just dial a number from your cell phone directory
Your phone call will connect with the Bluetooth system in the radio.

I am assuming you are ordering your Sport with the JBL radio with Bluetooth....
If not you will be missing the buttons on the steering wheel that are used to interact with the Bluetooth system

I would have paid an extra $500.00 if there was a Summerwind Option. That way my bluetooth phone set-up would be all done by now.

I'm not a big fan of the dial manually option.

The Bluetooth Nanny is hard of hearing at times and adds or forgets numbers.

I usually just use the cellphone phone book, press the dial button on the cell phone and close my RAZR when I hear dialing.

You have to use the "on hook" button on the steering wheel to disconnect the call when you are done

Thanks for your great answers SW...after seeing the Lexus bluetooth its easy to get spoiled...I was hoping the bluetooth display wouldve been on the small color screen above the radio, I think the LCD radio display is cheap looking quite frankly, too bad...
