From what I think I was told... You can cancel your warr and get a FULL refund within those 30 days.. after that it will cost you some???? best to call and check,,,, as far as buying the new one... .you have plenty of time... again,, call Mark and check,,, then YOU have all the answeres to make a choice...

Yes, you can cancel at any time up to 30 days and get a full refund. I just canceled mine yesterday at day 21 and they issued me a full refund. As soon as my funds are deposited, I will be calling Bernardi Warranty to get another one and pocket the $1000 difference.

Keep in mind people, I am in NO WAY connected to Anyone but "ME" and I want the best deal and the best service - I shop just like you... So, you do your own homework and deal with who ever you feel best with... Right Now, Mark has been pretty good with me and I save over $100 - So, guess where my money is going...

This is what is so great about Forums - information is Power... One thing about both dealers above... they are real busy this time of the year and you may have to leave a message... when doing so "hint" tell them you want to "BUY" and that will help them to et back to you in a timely manner.. if you want here is Marks email

markm@MidwestSuperstore.com

Good luck and Meyrry HO< HO<HO

Good to know. I had so far only looked into Bernardi online. Haven't signed up yet, so will give Mark a shout and see what he says. $111 is $111, and I am all about getting the best deal, so long as the product is the same.

My Dealer was above those prices by $200

Thanks "Luck777" I owe you a beer....
So we are expecting are 08 Sport HL some time in the next 3 weeks. I am so glad I got in touch with this usefull forum. So what I gather is that buy extra warranty from this gentleman at a Toyota dealership in Kansas will be the best bet. I am a little confused though since I mean if I am not buying my HL thru them.

You are correct.. You can buy the TOYOTA warr from any dealer... I bought my HL limited in Modesto CA and I just bought my 6/100 from Mark using my Visa on Friday... over the phone, I will get the warr from Toyota in a few weeks... I did my homework and have No worries... By using your Visa, you are protected... Mark is a busy guy and not always that easy to get a hold of.... When you leave a message, be sure to tell him what you want and that you found it here on the forum and to get back to you ASAP.... I will be posting the Warr paperwork here when I get it...

You should get a receipt by mail from Kansas within few days from the purchase. Actual warranty package will come from Toyota financial service in about 2 weeks.

Thumbs up

I paid $0 for $0 deductible for 7 years/100,000 miles

I had a great Sales Person and I put $5,000 down to make this work with a trade in. I got my brand new 2008 Toyota Highlander for 25,480.

Glad to see you get the ex warr thrown in and your happy... However, as we all know - nothing is free - The dealer covered the cost somewhere in the "deal". The cost would have been $780 - I got my dealer to throw in a few items also - all part of the 'game' some get more....some get less...

The way to really get something for free - do a Deal and as you about to drive away - ask for something else for Free and see what they do,,,lol...

It was actually hidden in the trade-in costs so it evened out and became 0 for the ext warranty.

Looks like dealer made good $$$ on your trade in, that's why you got "free" warranty.

I could not get ahold of Mark, but did contact Neil @ www.toyotawarranty.com. Their price for a '08 Highlander Limited 4WD is:

7 year/100,000 mile/$0 deductible : $870
7 year/75,000 mile/$0 deductible : $580

Anyone still able to beat this price?

Just wanted to post this to show it is real.... I took out the last of the Vin just to be safe... I was very pleased with Midwest Toyota... they saved me a bunch of $$$$$$$$ Modesto Toyota wanted $920 for this same warr and they told me they were giving me a 'special' Costco pricing... They said normal was $1600??????? Shopping does pay off...
