Hankook Tires

I am looking to replace the original tires on my 08 highlander and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on Hankook tires. I will be getting the Hankook Ventus AS 255/55/r19. I have read that a few people have switch over to them and would like some feedback if they are satisfied.
Thanks Mike

If I remember correctly one of our members, klossfam, bought Hankooks and had high praise for them. Hopefully he can chime in an give you an evaluation.

Hankooks have come a LONG way even in the last few years in terms of quality, traction and treadwear. For the money they can't be beat! I have a set of Hankook winter tires on an Astro van. I had Hankook tires on it previously and got 55K out of them (cheapest set at the time I could find). Previous tires were Kumhos, which were more expensive but got the same treadwear.

I run them on my MR2 Turbo. Great tires-epecially for the money. I was running Eagle GT's, not only do I think the Hankooks perform better, they last longer..
Love'em!

The Ventus V12's also got top reviews alongside Michelin's high-po tire - and at half the price! Good looks, low price, decent tread wear, can't beat it
