Has anyone put big off road tires/rims on their highlander? Like hummer type tires??

I have a white highlander. Well, my wife drives one. It is a pearl white. Not bad looking. I want to take the 18" sport wheels and tires off and replace them with either smaller rims to accomodate bigger meaner tires or bigger rims AND tires.

Has anyone done anything like this? If so, I am looking for the best size rims and tires.

Thanks all

if your looking for tire selection you're better of with a 17" wheel that the 19" that came on the sport.
also the clearance between tire and strut isn't going to allow for a substantially bigger tire than stock
size (not to mention issues with the gearing and speedo)...

...oh yah one more thing, rims come on bicycles and motorcycles cars and trucks have wheels. j/k

Its not a truck. Clearance isn't there without spacers on the springs and some alignment issues(eccentric bolts maybe a simple fix).
No way to change gearing and vehicle has no low range for off-roading. So whats the point?
No way to correct speedometer or odometer, which could also cause antilock brakes and traction control issues.
You can't go any smaller than 17" rim's since you have decent sized rotors/calipers that need clearance.
