TPMS and changing wheels off a 2010 SE?

Hi all

I just purchased a 2010 SE and i'm thinking about switching out the 17" for a set 19" sport wheels.

If I do this, do I also have to get all my TPMS sensors switched over to the new set of wheels and tires? If I don't will the system just be disabled and not show any errors on the console? The set of whels i'm thinking about buying already has a set of sensors in them could I just use those or would I have to get them re-programed?

thanks in advanced!

Either the TPMS sensors have to be switched over OR if you get new TPMS sensors then those numbers have to be programmed into the vehicle by the dealer or 3rd party devices

Regarding the errors that you would get, as long as you don't have the Navigation Package, the only error you will see is the TPMS indicator light under the speedometer. No errors will show up on your MFD. I do not have TPMS on my winter tires, so for 4 to 5 months per year, I just put up with this indicator lamp, which isn't really that annoying anyway.

Oh, and to ToyotaNation
