Thumbs down 4wd or 2wd

hey people, i bought an 09 toyota highlander v6 base model and i was wondering that is it 4wd or 2wd. i've been seeing other highlander with the 4wd emblem on the back trunk and some that doesn't have any, what's the difference. (i don't have the 4wd emblem on the back of my highlander). the dealer told me that it is a 4wd but after looking at it exterior and interior and even reading through the owners manual, it doesn't seem like it's an 4wd. anyone here please help me in resolve this issue or any suggestion about this topic is welcome.

thanks

to Toyota Nation, and to the world of Highlander ownership. If it doesn't say in your owner's manual or sale information then I'd suggest running the VIN number through any number of free online VIN number sites. They'll give you the rundown about your Highlander.
