Question Long Delivery Time in Virginia

Any one experiencing long delivery times in the DC Metro area?

Paperwork signed about 2 weeks ago. Still no HL Ltd. Vehicle is in Maryland waiting for a truck to haul it to VA.

very odd. I checked the carmax web site earlier this week and they had at least 7 Highlanders in stock. Checked again yesterday and just now......none in stock......there are 3 in WI.

Which MD dealership is the car located at? From DC, I can't imagine it being more the 2 hours away. I had purchased a car from a MD dealership but they didn't have the exact vehicle I wanted. They did a dealership trade with one outside of Pittsburgh, PA. After waiting for the truck to deliver, they decided to send a driver instead. It only took a week.

My VA dealer is trading for mine with another dealer. Vehicle must ship to the original dealer first.

What I've discerned is that the HL made it from Indiana via rail to a depot between DC and Baltimore. Inventory at this depot exceeds truck hauling capacity so I/we wait.
