USA Mystery “Grooves” in 08 Highlander Cargo Area

I just bought a 08 Highlander Base Model with 3rd Row Seats. I love it!
I was wonder if anyone knew what the “grooves” in the back cargo area are for? A cargo cover or something? I know that they are not for the 3rd row seating.
You can see the “grooves” in the attached link; they are above the cargo net.
Thanks!
-Tony

I guess what you are asking is for tonneau cover groove/placement...

Yes, and FYI, the tonneau cover should be stored right underneath your cargo net below the floor panel.

Yeah look first because I called my dealer hours after delivery thinking they didn't put them in my vehicle (they were on my invoice) only to find out they were stored in the floor panel.

I wonder why the cargo net is placed where it is...the rear door *always*slams into whatever is in it. They should have moved the hooks towards the front of the vehicle about six inches. I actually broke my camera's pop-up flash in the cargo net, despite it being in a padded carrying case, it probably got squeezed between the rear hatch and the cargo bay floor.
