I cannot find how to set the time in my Nav unit. My smaller screen is correct but not the Nav unit. None of the settings seem to work. Any ideas?

Sorry, SeaMuskrat, I don't have the answer you're looking for. Went through the manual and see that it can be set up for auto switch to Daylight Saving Time but have been unable to find a time set. Actually I don't recall seeing the time displayed. What screen shows the time? Obvious one I don't use much. Will keep looking.

The NAV does not have a clock that has a time of day. It calculates the hours and minutes until one reaches the destination.
Why would it have settings for Time Zones and Day Light Savings time, On or Off?

It is because the Nanny Toyo Nav is a POS! It uses the time on the little multi-unit display, but daylight savings time is also seperately stored in the NAV. So when you change the clock on the multi-display using the button on the steering wheel, the clock and be 1 hour off when the nav displays the arrival time.
You have to turn the daylight saving time on and off in the nav in addition to changing the clock on the multi-function display.
Like I said, a real POS!
Every other unit I have automatically sets the clock by pulling the time off the satellites!

$4,000 PIECE OF CRAP!!!
Not only does it suck, but you paid twice as much as I did for the option, so your sucks twice as much at that price!

I agree, some features leave lot to be desired. The main reason I got was that backup camera defaults to the big screen. My aging eyes need all the help they can get. I just wish that Toyota would leave the backup sensors as an OEM feature. Camera or no camera!

Some parts of the US, Indianapolis for one does not use daylight savings time so I assume that's why it's opted to turn on and off. I would just assume turning this feature off then adjust the clock as needed twice a year. What's the fuss?
I happen to think the Nav system rocks. I do hate that you can't operate most features while driving but we all know the reason for that.

I am glad you are most satisfied with it. You are one of the few! The fuss is that it is poorly designed and the $4000 POS does not work as good as a $150 Garmin. This is a case in point. Why put the control for DST under a totally different system (ie the nav) when the function should be on the MSD (clock)? So twice a year I have to adjust the clock and then seperately turn on of off DST in the NAV or it is an hour off. If they would have designed it right, turning off/on DST would adjust both the clock and the NAV. Like I said, if it were properly designed, it would just pull the time off the sats like my $150 garmin. What morons designed this?
FWIW, A couple of years ago Indianapolis dropped "Indiana Stupid Time" and joined East Coast Time.
Boy don't I feel stupid.

I suppose I like it so far because I'm coming from a 2000 year Honda with Nav. This unit in the HL is twice as fast and has a ton of more features. I guess I could see your point if your used to working with the latest technology from a Garmin and the convenient features.
I would like to be able to work some of the nav features on the fly and I read a thread about a hack. Anyone do this and experience any bugs from doing this?
OK help. Now I'm really confused. Today I set a destination on the nav for about a 20 minute 10 mile trip. The arrival time said 2 minutes earlier then my display time, as soon as I started to the destination. I get to my destination approx 20 minutes later and the destination time still remained at the original time to destination. Yesterday I had various degrees of the same issue. I turned the daylight savings on and off to no avail.
So we can't get the clock time to EVER correlate with the desination time? If so this is a POS system.
