The ride is much better and I am extremely happy with my purchase.
Who has upgraded their 19 inch tires?

Lol, I think I was at 300 miles (now at 10,000 miles) when Bridgestone replaced the HL400s with the Dueler Alenzas for me. They're terrific aren't they
i have the dualers on my limited and they ride great, smooth, and fairly quite. I had heard people say the bridgestone tires were horrible, but i havent noticed anything bad, gets plenty of traction, even in rain, and is very comfortable. I have never had the other brand that makes tires for the highlander (toyo i think) so i cant compare but i love the dualers.
Are you recommonding the Bridgestone Dueler Alenzas or the Bridgestone Dueler HL400s. The 400s came stock on many Highlanders. The 400s are are quiet, handle good and have good traction in dry and wet but they wear fast and are poor in snow.
I replaced the junk OEM Toyo Open Country A20 245/55/R19 tires that came on my 2008 HL Sport after 18500 miles. While I could have gotten a few more miles from the Toyos, I had no confidence in them last summer when vacation driving season started. The replacement tires are Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza in the 255/55/R19 size. I haven't looked back. The Alenza model has excellent wear ratings vs. competitive tires from Michelin and Pirelli. After more than 9000 miles I'm seeing very little wear and excellent results under all conditions (no snow driving though). Checkout Tire Rack for reviews on the Dueler Alenzas. My local tire dealer (who sells both Bridgestone and Toyo tires) recommended the Alenzas as his favorite tires for SUVs.

The Bridgestone Dueler Alenzas, they are awesome in the snow, we had over 80+ inches of snow this past winter and the Highlander was absolutely unstoppable. They function just as well in rain, standing water, deep sand, etc. I wish I could get them in 22" for my Sequoia.
I wonder if there is any chance of Bridgestone offering the Alenzas in the OEM 245/55/R19 size. My Toyos still have quite a bit of tread on them at 23000 km (actually, closer to 18000 km, since I had winter tires on for about 5000 km), so I am not in the market just yet.

I actually switched to 20" custom rims and love them.
I wanted to go to 22" rims, but the ride would have been sacrificed too much.
So I settled in between for the 20's and can't tell the difference.
Of course, I got new tires too.
Any problem with rubbing anything in the wheel well?
Can we see some pics?
Looking for any way to get a few more inches ground clearance.
Thanks
