No V6 emblem on 2010 HL base V6?

Hi all, I just got my 2010 HL base V6 after waiting for almost one month for it to come in. I was really excited to pick it up until I saw there was no V6 emblem on the back. At first I thought the dealer had messed up and gave me the base V4 model, but after popping the hood to confirm it really was a V6 I just thought that maybe it was accidentally forgotten. I asked about it and the dealer wasn't even sure about it. They checked the other 2010 models and said there wasn't a V6 on them either. They told me they could put an emblem on for a cost. Is this really the case for the 2010 models? I don't really mind not having the emblem, but how can you distinguish between the base V4 and V6 models now?

Yes, all of the 2010 models lost the "V6" and the "Toyota" that were located on the rear door. Only the "4wd" will appear on the rear door (if you have 4wd). I have a 2010 Limited and I thought the same thing as you until I checked into it. Now, I actually like the "cleaned up" look without the badging better than having the badging on it.

i like the clean look too.
my 2001 HL had so many emblems on the back it was crazy.
I never knew they could be removed easily, or else I would have done that.
i think autozone sells little V6 emblems that you could install?

Yeah, I agree.

I am thinking about debadging my HL when it gets warm!

I've had my Highlander in 125 degree heat. I'm surprised Mother Nature didn't do the debadging on her own.... Oooze...oooze...slide...slide.....thunk!
