Greetings all: On my 08 Highlander I have the Bridgestone Dueler HL400, 15,000 miles on truck now, tires are good for me. But I cant locate how long the tires are generally good for mileage wise? anyone have any details or ideas?

I also have an '08 and had the original Bridgestone Dueler HL400 on it. They went 33,000. It was about 80% highway driving at a constant 65 mph. They still could have gone about another 2,000 or 3,000 but it was the end of winter and I knew I'd be doing a lot more highway driving so I switched to a new set of Michelin Latitude Tours. Ran about $800 at Sears. I'll know this winter how well they do in the snow. I suspect that the kind of driving might have a big effect on how long any tire lasts. Hope this helps.

I have the Duelers and have 29,000 on my HL. By the rate of wear I'd estimate a minimum of 40,000 miles till replacement, but more likely 43,000-45,000. I will probably replace them early next Fall to get a more aggressive tread for my off-road use.

Regarding your question about how long the tires are good for, there's a lot of variables to that: driving style, driving type, proper inflation, proper alignment. All of those factors account for why some members have had tires go bald before 20,000 and why others get 30,000+.

I just ordered the 255/55/19 Alenzas from Tire Rack yesterday. Costco told me that they were "no longer in production", and were on national backorder. Made sense to me, because I couldn't find them ANYWHERE else! Don't get jealous, but the Alenzas will be replacing my OEM A20s, which I will finally be replacing after 44k (remember those pictures I posted around 30k). I'm not down to the replacement indicators yet, but I can feel the grip starting to give even on dry pavement. I know how HORRIBLE the OEM A20s have been to most, but I guess I was the exception to the "Not worth their rubber" rule.
