Anyone got a Service Manual in PDF?

Hi there

1st post and yes it's a cry for help.

I've been busily putting a 2GR-FE into my MR2. The engine and loom was from a 2008 Highlander. We've managed to get some of the wiring done using the Avalon wiring diagrams however we've got to a point where plugs and pinouts do not seem to match the ones on our Avalon circuit diagrams.(5 Plug ECU)
We're completely stuck, cannot get a service manual over here as I'm in the UK and was really hoping to get the car ready for a driving weekend in 10 days time.

If anyone has a PDF of the manual please give me a shout, I tried to get onto the Toyota site but it doesn't seem to work and would quite happily pay the $30 it would have cost for access but no luck with it.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, Gripper, and welcome to Toyota Nation!

Unfortunately, Forum Rules don't allow for members to post up direct links to FSMs, but of course contact via PM is the way to go if they have a PDF to share with you. Just an opinion, but given the time and expense you're incurring just putting the Highlander engine into your MR2 alone, the $30 cost of an FSM really isn't that bad. I'd say pull the trigger on the FSM or get a short-term ($15 if memory serves) two-day subscription to Toyota's Technical Information System.

I understand completely. I tried signing upto the site but it tells me it cannot be undertaken at this time. After a bit of looking around it seems the service ceased in March? I'd quite happily pay the $30 but it appears there is no longer any access now

Really hoping someone can help me out here as we're soooo close

I really wish the Toyota service manuals were not so much money.

I was able to establish a TIS account on March 27,2010. Worked great. Haven't tried since.
