thanks,

i did looked at that thread a few times but there is no definite answer of the quality of the product and the pricing if when its made available in the u.s. knowing its a product made in china will set off lots of alarm on q/c and the quality of the product itself.

The mounting point and the housings are exactly the same for Hybrid and Base/Sport/Limited. I am pretty sure because I have a Base model, and I have a set of Hybrid headlights as my backup. The lens on the Hybrid's headlights do have a "bluish" tint on them that are not on the Base/Sport/Limited model.

Hope this helps.

Andy

Hey Steven,

I know for sure Toyota uses OEM headlights and are not the TYC brand. I'd advise you to go to the bay/cg/junk yard to pick up a pair of OEM ones so you don't have to worry about fitment and quality. I picked up my Hybrids for $120 shipped on Ebay. Good luck on the retrofit!

Andy
