Startup

This morning when I turned on the car I heard this weird sound, the best I can describe it is like a thin metal tray with forks and knives fell on to the ground.

I first heard this a few months ago and never happened again, just heard it again today.

Sound I be worried?

That's a strange one! On the one hand I'd say take it in for a look-see, but on the other hand an inability to replicate the noise for the mechanic would leave him scratching his head too. Don't know if anyone else has encountered that sound?

I have the same issue. There is another post about it somewhere. Mine will do it once in about 40 starts. I think it timing chain tensioner noise. Just my opinion.
