I just got my 2008 Highlander Base back today after the 30,000 mile servicing, which included extensive inspection and tightening of bolts, etc., on the suspension, as well as a change of the differential and transfer case oil due to my extensive use off-road. Everything turned out okay, with the differential and transfer case oil reported in excellent condition after inspection. No major surprises at all, which was outstanding considering I've pushed my Highlander further off-road than probably 99.9% of drivers will use their Highlanders. Brakes were 50% remaining in front and 65% for the rear. My OEM Duelers are still looking like they'll go 45,000 miles, but I'll still probably replace them early to mount tires better suited to off-road conditions. All things considered, I'm extremely happy with my purchase of the Highlander and I have no regrets.
