I received an email notice of a 30% off Blaupunkt sale at Midwest electronics. I purchased the Blaupunkt THb200A there to add to my after mkt radio install in my 09 Sport, but I paid full price. I documented my install here, including the subwoofer:
Anyway, I thought I would give fellow Highlander owners a heads up in case you're interested in adding a bit of bass to your stock radio (I believe it can be hooked up to existing speaker wiring, but don't quote me) or adding to aftermarket system. Note, this just adds some lows to the system...don't expect it to rattle the windows. I am really happy with it for filling in lows.
Here's the link, and use the coupon code MW30 at the check out (I went that far on the check out process and the price was reduced accordingly) and get it for $140 insted of $200:
Looks interesting. At first i thought about getting one, but then decided to be nice to my passengers and not take up the foot space.
Mine is under the driver seat and takes up absolutely no foot space. Although I have my seat as far back as it goes, the sub is still recessed about 4-5 inches. Tons of space back there. I made some mods to the vent (heated and molded it) so air passes over the sub, and this allowed me to push it forward and deeper into the underseat space while still having the air reach the rear seat footspace.

Mods: tinted windows; upgraded headlight and fog bulbs; bug deflector; Ichiba 15mm bolt on wheel spacers, Pioneer FH-P8000BT head unit; Blaupunkt underseat sub, Viper 5901 security/auto start, stainless dual exhaust tip, upgraded horns.
I failed to mention that I already have an AMP for my integrated Navi unit under the seat, so I have less space than those without anything under theirs. I'm sure i could find some space somewhere in the car if I really wanted to.

WOW! this unit works like a champ. I enjoy watching movies and listening to the music in my HL now. Lots of bass for this little unit. I love it so much that I bought another one for my Toyota tacoma truck. Highly recommended.
