I've looked around but did not find this, so does anyone know the weight limit of the running boards for a 2010 Highlander? I am considering adding them to my SE that is on the way but as I tip the scales a bit north of 300 lbs I thought I'd ask.
Thanks
Ken

To be honest, I don't think they would actually be used. I'm 5'10" and have no problem getting in and out of our Highlander. I think they are more for looks than anything.
I thought that these would look better on my Highlander than the nerf bars Toyota is now providing--which, to my eye, look better on a truck or strictly off-road vehicle. Most aftermarket options now seem to be variants of nerf bars. (On my 2003 Highlander, Toyota were able to supply some really nice painted boards that blended beautifully into the front-wheel mudguards.) These Owens boards are advertised (as you'll see in the blurb) as flexing at 300 lbs., but able to support a maximum weight of 400 lbs.
They're really nice boards (although not quite as nice as the earlier boards Toyota supplied). I ordered them painted to match my vehicle's color (and paid the extra $125), but they arrived unpainted (although quickly). They refunded my $125, and I had them painted by a local body shop that had the right paint (Blizzard Pearl).
stay away from Dee Zee or you'll have to drill the driver's side to get it installed.
The board looks nice after installed, but it is very (yes, very) weak. if you're over 170lbs, don't step on it.
this is what I bought. I wrote a review on it, but autoanything never published it. http://www.autoanything.com/nerf-bars/60A5104A0A0.aspx

These look really good like some BMW or Merc. Benz. Models. Do you have any pics please which you would like to share?
yeah, the website said no drill, but you'll have to drill on the driver's side. The bracket that came with the package does not line up with holes on the frame.
here are a couple pictures. Actually it looks nicer after I installed the mud flap. However, this running board is not strong enough. I am 160lbs and i scare to step on it. This SUV for my wife. She is very petite. I have my own Toyota Tacoma PreRunner and I love it :-)

I really like the curvature towards the ends and makes it resemble some Benz cats which have these. So, the caveat it that these are not strong and only for show and secondly drill required on the driver's side. Any close up pics of both running boards and Mudflaps together.
