2010 Highlander SE A/C

I'm seriously thinking about buying a 2010 silver Highlander SE with gray interior. I live in Phoenix, AZ where the temp right now is 112 deg. Question 1: Will leather seats be a problem? Question 2: Is the SE auto climate control A/C system good enough to deal with Phoenix heat?

I can only assume the auto climate control system will be adequate. I have the non-auto Base model and frequently travel in the Mojave and Death Valley at 115+ temperatures, and my Highlander is fast and excellent at chilling the vehicle down after a good heat soak. I rate the A/C as two .

i have a 2010 se awd with black leather, here in chandler. actually its my wife's car.
we've had no problems with the leather being too hot. but we also don't use the auto climate. we just adjust it manually when needed.
same goes for the rear control. we have our baby in the second row and one of us sits in the second row with the baby.
bought from (tempe) power toyota with no problems.

Check out the post Foul Smell to see what problems you may eventually have with Highlander AC.
As to cooling the interior the AC system is adequate in humid Florida in my 09 Limited.
