rear roof ac vent/register

Just purchased a 2008 Highlander with rear AC. I need to replace the roof mounted vent/register as it is broken. Can anyone tell me how to remove the existing one so I can install a new one?

if you push on it it just pops back into the vent cavity. then you just have to fish it out, probably with some long pliers or the like. in transporting large furniture, i have accidentally knocked out 2 of the rear vents. they are a real pain to get back in!

Thanks for that but unfortunately I have to replace the entire register not just the air vents. Don't want to damage the headliner.
