USA DIY Oil Change 2008 Highlander

I may be a little stupid here, but where is the oil filter located on the '08 Highlander? Went to purchase a new filter and the box contained a paper filter. Would appear that the traditional oil filter is not being used on the Highlander.

Any info would be much appreciated.

There's a DIY sticky at the top of the forum for modifications and maintenance. Scroll down until you see all the information on "Maintenance -- Changing the Oil. Here's a quick link to the sticky:

“There was a time when the 3,000 miles was a good guideline,” said Philip Reed, senior consumer advice editor for the car site Edmunds.com. “But it’s no longer true for any car bought in the last seven or eight years."

I dunno, I have always been a 3K mile guy, hard to change my thinking.
